Gathering debris washed ashore along the English coastline, I collected fragments discarded by the sea and brought them to the Merzbarn, where they became the material for an assemblage action. Positioned within the historical and conceptual legacy of Kurt Schwitters' Merz practice, the gesture transformed found remnants into a temporary constellation, negotiating the boundaries between landscape, memory, and material culture.

This video documents that action. Rather than functioning as straightforward documentation, it traces the encounter between place, found matter, and the performative act of assemblage, allowing the work to unfold as a dialogue with the Merzbarn and its enduring artistic resonance.
